MomentsUntil lets you build a personal countdown calendar — an advent-style calendar where each day reveals a door with a photo, video or message. Create one for a birthday, holiday, wedding or any moment worth counting down to, then share it with a private link.

Click Login and choose “Create an account”. Fill in your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters. We’ll send a verification email — open it and confirm before your first login.

New accounts are activated by email so we know the address is really yours. Until you click the link in the verification email, your account stays inactive and you can’t log in. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.

From your account, choose New calendar, give it a title and an end date (the day the last door opens), and save. You’ll land in the editor where you can add a cover image and fill the doors.

Doors are counted back from your end date — one door per day. Set how many doors you want and MomentsUntil assigns each a date automatically. A door only opens on or after its date; earlier days stay locked.

Yes. Open it from your account and edit the title, cover, doors or content at any time. Changes are saved straight away and visible to anyone you’ve shared the link with.

Each door holds an image or a video, plus an optional title and message. Use a photo, a short clip or a YouTube link to reveal something new each day.

In a door’s content, paste the YouTube link. MomentsUntil pulls in the video and its thumbnail automatically, so the door shows a preview before it’s opened.

Yes. In the editor’s doors list, drag a door to a new position (or use the keyboard). The dates stay in order — reordering just changes which content sits behind each day.

Your calendar is private by design. Only people who have the share link can open it, and it isn’t listed publicly on MomentsUntil. You decide who gets the link.

The share link opens your published calendar for anyone who has it — no account needed. It’s unlisted: not shown in menus or search on the site. Treat the link like a key and share it only with people you trust.

No. Personal calendars are marked “no index”, so search engines are asked not to list them. Only the curated examples we feature on the site are public.

Open your calendar’s Collaborators page and enter the person’s email. They’ll get an invitation with a link to accept. Once accepted, they can help edit the calendar’s content.

Co-editors can edit the calendar’s content — covers, doors, titles and messages. They can’t delete the calendar, manage other collaborators or change ownership; those stay with you, the owner.

On the Collaborators page, find the person and choose Remove (or cancel a pending invite). They lose access immediately. You can re-invite them later if you change your mind.
